Most of her childhood days were spent in Louisville, Kentucky where she received her primary school education. As a teenager she relocated to Dayton, Ohio where she remained throughout her adulthood. A variety of employment opportunities were presented that allowed her to financially support her family. Junella secured a position at the Mound Lab and after 25 years of service retired.
Junella accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a young age. She was a faithful church member of Revival Center Ministries and enjoyed praising with the choir as well as listening to the preached word. She had a love of sewing and crocheting, creating beautiful items.
