Regina Sue (Lay) Yerian, age 68, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Sue was born June 6, 1954 in Dayton to the late Herstle and Mable Lay. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Lewis and Candy Lay.

Sue is survived by her loving husband, Robert Yerian; step-sons: Patrick and Jeff Yerian; grandchildren: Kelsey (Ron) Wilson, Kailey (Ranny) Sage, Jimmie Trick; adored mother in law, Elizabeth Yerian; brother-in-law, Paul (Debbie) Yerian; cherished brothers: David Lay and Larry (Chris) Lay; special cousin, Sherman Lay; special nieces and nephews: Audrina Brooks, Tony (Angel) Lay, Verna (Jamie) Mutter, Liz (Scott) Back, Amy Lay, and David (Britni) Lay; 11 great nieces and nephews; and 7 great-great-nieces and nephews, all of which were so very treasured in her life; Mimi's girl, Tayler Eversole; very special best friend and sista, Dyla Burneka; and a host of very special girlfriends.

Sue was a doting sister and auntie. She played such an important part in each and every one of their lives. There was nothing she missed when it counted most.

Her favorite pastime was to enjoy every concert that she could at the Rose and Fraze. She loved her music. Oldies were her favorite. Namely, Lynard Skynard, Chubby Checker, and The Van Dells. She always loved a good time!

Sue passed on some words of encouragement on her last day. She said "When you think of me, think of all the good memories and when you're making new ones, know I'll be with you then too."

A visitation will be held on Thursday June 30, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. To share a memory of Sue, or leave a special message for her family, please click the Share Memories button above.
