Bernard Charles Wezensky, age 66 passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 20th, 2022. He was born on December 22, 1955 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan to the late Joseph and Rita Wezensky. Bernie leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years Tanya (Stutz) Wezensky, and their daughters Cara (Sean) Jones, Kayla Wezensky and Carly Wezensky; his brother George (Yvonne) Wezensky and their children Travis Wezensky, Jesse (Heather) Wezensky and Shannon (Steve) Newman and his great nieces and nephews: Chase, Chloe, Cole, Emilee and Grant; four brothers and four sisters and numerous family members.

Bernie proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Anyone that knew Bernie, knew that he loved gardening, roses and delighted in making jams from the berries we grew and the yearly baking of cinnamon rolls, Christmas cookies and candies. One thing Tanya adored is that he loved reading bedtime stories to the girls when they were little. Nancy Drew Mysteries and Pilgrims Progress were always a favorite. She isn’t sure how many chapters he had to re-read since he’d be found hours after the girls had gone to sleep, still in the same chair with the book in his hands. But he didn’t mind. His smile, giant crushing hugs, love and laughter will certainly be missed!
