Connie “Susie” Harvey, age 72 of Dayton, went to be with the lord on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky August 18, 1949, to James and Carma Jean (Caudill) Watkins, both of whom preceded her in death, as did her two husbands, Richard Allen (8 years) and Donald Harvey (40 years).

She is survived by her brother James “Jim” (Elizabeth “Pitter”) Watkins, children Rick “Jason” (Nikki) Allen, Toni (Brian) Salo, Matt Harvey, Natalie Harvey, James “Marty” (Janet) Harvey, Lori (Mike) Belisle and Tim (Melissa) Harvey. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, as well as great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

Connie retired from Carriage Inn of Dayton. She provided 50 years of dedicated service as an RN and Director of Nursing where she made sure those around her received the best care possible. Connie was loyal, loving, and faithful to 2 husbands caring for them in sickness until they made their journey to heaven. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a selfless, caring woman that was loved and respected by all that knew her. Connie loved to sew, crochet, knit and read books but most of all spend time with her family. She was a member of Northridge Free Will Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio and believed that with God all things are possible.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm, on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Northridge Free Will Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Ave., Dayton, where Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm, with Pastor Tim Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
