Lenora E. "Nonie" Minton

Nonie previously attended Southside Church of God in Xenia. She enjoyed working on latch hooks and sharing them with others as well as her family pictures. She also enjoyed working seek and find puzzles. She will be remembered for baking and eating chocolate chip cookies; but only a little bit at a time.
Nonie married the love of her life, Pres Minton on October 17, 1941 and they were married for 63 years. They met on his family farm during a prayer meeting; she had no doubt he was the one for her. They purchased a 50 acre farm in Ceasar's Creek Township in 1950 and raised 7 children there.
She is preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Mark Worthington and brothers, Charles, Amos, George & Bobby Eury.
Nonie is survived by her children, Jim (Judy) Minton, Judi (Joe) Sweet, Joyce Worthington, John (Crystal) Minton, Janet Collins, Jean (Ed) Scaggs & Jill (David) Adkins; 13 grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Nonie's honor.
Visitation will be January 24, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Valley View Memorial Gardens following the service.
