Nina Reba Bretz, a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, age 67, of Dayton, passed away on October 6, 2021. She was born in Franklin County, Ohio, on April 8, 1954, the daughter of the late Everett Earl and Joan Divine Casto.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Michael Casto.

Nina is survived by her beloved husband, Terry Bretz; children, Alvin & Misty Simmons, Summer Simmons, Mark & wife, Rion Bretz and Justin & wife, Shannon Bretz; grandchildren, Catharine Simmons, James Smith, Ciera Smith, Joe Smith, Noah Smith, Joselyn & Avory Bretz, Liam & Olivia Bretz, Tori Simmons, Scott Johnson and Maya Simmons; many great grandchildren; sisters, FarneySmith & Todd Smith; Cindy Casto, April Smith, Theresa Cook Bateman and Diane Borden; mother-in-law, Betty Bretz; brother-in-law, Paul & Cindy Bretz; sister-in-law, Vicky Trueblood; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
