Vicki is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry; two sons, Rob (Mikki) Mason and Jamie (Christy) Mason; nine grandchildren, Robbie, Riley, Owen, Andrew, Thomas and Abby Mason, Brad, Jake and Brooke Swallows; one great grandchild, David; her twin sister, Nicki (John) Sanner; two brothers, Steve and Ron Adkins; mother in law, Nancy Young; sister in laws, Kristi, Julie (Jeff), Susan (Todd) and Debbie; brother in laws, Jay (Sherri), David and Steve (Ann); and other nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother in laws, Scott and Danny.
Vicki graduated from Fairmont East High School in 1968. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, traveling and cruises. Vicki was a greeter and office volunteer at Ascension Catholic Church in Kettering. She worked for Top Value for nearly 20 years and for Kettering City Schools for 21 years. Vicki was the secretary for several bowling leagues and she helped run the youth bowling program at Woodman Lanes. She was a Board Member of EKRC youth baseball organization in Kettering for many years. Vicki loved going to watch her grandchildren at sporting events and all their activities.
Vicki was a breast cancer survivor of 20 years and helped mentor others diagnosed with breast cancer. She participated in the walks and many other activities related to breast cancer awareness, helping to raise money for research.
Vicki kept in touch with friends and family over the years, assuring they all stayed in touch. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Vicki's name to Pink Ribbon Girls, 32 E Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371 or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Vicki will be laid to rest following the services at Valley View Memory Gardens, Xenia, OH.
