In Memory Of
Trent Matthew Koehler
1994 - 2021

Trent Matthew Koehler, age 27 of Beavercreek, was born on January 5, 1994 and passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 31, 2021. He was a 2012 graduate of Beavercreek High School and attended Wright State University.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Jacquelyn Koehler; brother, Travis Koehler; aunt and uncle, Sue and Bob Klepinger; cousins, Missy, Caiden, and Colton Klepinger; cousin, Carissa Tekeste; cousins, Andy and Carson Klepinger; uncle, Randy Poulson; cousins, Alleah (Ben), Shayne, and Aidan Gogley; cousins, Creed (Efrat), Maya, and Noa Poulson; AJ “Bub” who is a very special boy who called Trent “Dad” and the family dogs, Lolli and Brady.

Trent is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Dee Koehler; grandparents, Mervin and Virginia Comstock; and aunt, Julie Poulson.

Trent was a kind hearted spirit who had many friends, but his closest friends throughout his years were his mom and dad, brother, Travis, Tonia Davis, Cory McPherson, and Mason Bach.

Trent loved spending time with his family. He spent a lot of time at his parents, swimming playing corn hole, grilling, playing pool, and foosball. Trent enjoyed throwing a baseball or football, golfing, and shooting with his dad. He loved to go to lunch with his mom, put puzzles and LEGO villages together and play all kinds of games. He also loved to play video games and throw the football with his brother, Travis. Family vacations usually were centered around baseball tournaments but the most memorable vacations were, Hawaii, California, and North Carolina. Trent spent most of his spare time “making music” with his sound equipment. He spent a lot of time teaching AJ “Bub” how to ride a bike, skateboard, swim, and throw a baseball and football. He also enjoyed drawing and playing video games.

Trent loved to play football, baseball, and basketball, skateboarding, and snowboarding. As a small child he loved his job as bat boy on his brother’s baseball teams where he earned the name “T-Money” which later became his Eager Beaver football name. When he was little, he always made friends with the catcher and would put the catcher gear on and then take it off over and over.

Trent was a creative spirit with a radiant smile and outgoing personality. He brought his family lots of joy and happiness. He was well loved and will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers an account has been set up, in memory of Trent, for AJ "Bub" at PNC Bank. The account is titled "Anthony James Holliday College Fund".
