Carolyn Sue Anders, age 79 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Grandview Hospital. She was born September 5, 1941 in Octa, Ohio to the late Carey and Ethel Rinehart.

Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, going to thrift shops, bingo and garage sales as well as playing scratch-off games. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her infant children, Debra Sue Anders and Eric Bryan Anders; daughter-in-law, Teresa Cook-Anders; granddaughter, Dawn Everhart; and siblings, Alice Turner, Raymond Rinehart, Jasper Rinehart, Maxine Cooper and Ruth Ann.

Carolyn will be missed by her loving husband of almost 63 years, Norman Anders, Sr.; children, Juanita Wilson, Sidney Francis, Norman Anders, Jr., Diane Trisdale, Jennifer Gard, Craig Anders and Neil Anders; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; one great-great daughter; sister, Dorothy Bell; and many nieces, nephews and additional family members.

Family will receive friends Friday, August 6, 2021 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Carolyn's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
