Virginia L. Alexander, age 92 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 4, 1928 in Johnsville, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Henrietta Helmich.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James D. Alexander; son, Jeffery Dean Alexander; and grandson, Matthew Alexander.

Virginia is survived by her children, Vicki Boggs, David (Faith) Alexander, Sherry (Harold) Pearce; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; as well as a host of relatives and friends.

After retirement, Virginia gave much of her time and creativity to charity by making quilts and afghans for children. She was also a lifelong member of Union Road Pentecostal Church in Dayton, OH.

Private graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family.
