Phyllis Jean Rose Wyse, age 78, of Clayton, loving wife, mother and grandmother, fell asleep in death on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 12, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Raymond and Della (Coyle) Rose.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, David Wyse, Larry Blumenthal and James E. Hisel.

Phyllis is survived by her loving daughter, Sandy (Rob) Longnecker; grandson, Spencer Dean (Megan) Longnecker; brother, Kenneth (Beverly) Rose and sister, Judy (Richard) Albrecht; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She had an associate degree from Miami Jacobs College and a graduate of Fashion Merchandising School. She worked as a regional secretary for a computer company for several years and worked as a furniture and design rep until she retired.

Phyllis was a very classy lady, who found great comfort in helping those in need. She always loved to read and travel, she wanted to see the world. She truly had a green thumb, who found great solitude and was the happiest when working in her flowerbeds, which were always eye catchers. She dearly loved her parrot who was her companion, Mickey.
