1941 - 2020

Patricia Ann Rockwell, age 79, of Dayton, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2020, after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born in Carter County, Kentucky on September 9, 1941, the daughter of the late Ernest and Letha Crawford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John H. Rockwell; her sisters June Ward, Sue Little and Dorothy Dunham; her brothers, Schultz Crawford, Frank Crawford, Karl Crawford; and six step-siblings.

Patricia is survived by her children, Johnny Rockwell, Joseph Rockwell, Rachel Abraham and Tonya Rockwell; step-daughters, Johnna Rockwell and Tina Turberville; grandchildren, Ryan Finn, Joshua Lewis, Joseph Lewis, Thomas Miller, Joseph W. Rockwell, Tara Davis, Jackie Kreterfield, Katie Rockwell, Amy Ransdell and Angie Rockwell; ten great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

She was an amazing cook and fed most of the neighborhood, many of her neighbors looked forward to her meals and desserts. She also enjoyed playing BINGO, doing upholstery and working puzzles.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2020, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where services will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Bailey Chapel Cemetery in Piketon, Ohio at 2pm.
