Cathy E. Young, age 69 of Centerville, passed away on August 1, 2020 at her home. She was born on February 6, 1951 in Dayton to the late Herman and Wanda (Duley) Young.
She is survived by her wife, Carole Fowler; siblings, Gary (Gloria) Young, Ronald Young and Lori (Jeff) Powers; lifelong dear friend, Di Staley; her adoring nieces and nephews; faithful dog, Sissy and numerous extended family and dear friends.
Cathy enjoyed spending time with her spouse-Carole, her dog Sissy, her lifelong friend Dianne, and her favorite sister-Lori, as well as numerous other close family and friends. Her nieces and nephews will always cherish the epic sleepovers with her.
She was an avid fiesta collector, and loved to fish. In earlier years she was also a professional photographer and enjoyed it as a hobby later on.
If she was missing, she most likely was at a table doing a puzzle and when she could get away, she was in her beloved Smoky Mountains.
Cathy was 1969 graduate of Belmont HS and enjoyed getting together with fellow classmates.
She will surely be missed!!!
