Raymond Wilson Petty, Jr., age 90, of Dayton, passed away on July 18, 2020. He was born on March 29, 1930, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Petty.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Pauline M. Petty; and his sister, Estelle Ries.

Raymond is survived by his sons, David (Pat) Petty, John (Diana) Petty and Robert (Loretta) Petty; grandchildren, Joel Petty, Theresa Petty, Johnny Petty and Angela Petty; great-grandchildren, Bailey Nicole Petty and Bryley Ray Petty; many loving nieces and nephews; and dear family friend, Margie Hoffman.

He belonged to the Corvair Club and enjoyed antique cars. He always enjoyed bowling with his wife and he was very proud of his military service. Raymond served our country proudly in the Korean War in the United States Army and later the United States Air Force.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at 10am, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd., Huber Heights, OH 45424.

Donations may be made in his honor to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
