Barbara Ann Mayer, age 82, of Xenia, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her family March 30, 2020. She was born November 14, 1936 in Ethridge,TN to the late George and Winnie King.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed talking to her friends and loved ones. Barbara was a member and a Sunday School Teacher for several years at East Dayton Baptist Church. Barbara was a very proud woman who took pride in providing for her family and never forgetting where she came from. She was devoted to her husband, their marriage and raising her family.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Donald Mayer; siblings, Joyce Dye, Howard King, Sterling King, Jacqueline Haueter, Haskell King, Ernestine King, George King, Jewel King, Herbert King, and Charles Lloyd King.

Barbara is survived by her children, Timothy L. (Vicky) Mayer, Faith Ann (Stephan) Sorice, and Joy Dawn DeHaven; grandchildren, Mark Mayer, Joseph Mayer, Christopher (Jessica) Mayer, Ethan DeHaven, Bethany DeHaven, Colleen Sorice; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
