Letha Mae Newell, age 59 of Miami Township, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at her sister Frankie’s home. She was born January 22, 1961 in Athens, Ohio the daughter of Frank and Maxine Delong.

She is preceded in death by her Father; Frank J. Delong, Mother; Maxine Delong, sister; Faye Tudor and late husband; Larry Newell.

Letha is survived by her Daughter; Kayla Decker, Sons; Quentin Newell, Tyler Newell, Grandchildren; Landen, Noah, Emery, and Anna, Sisters; Frances Jarngian, Cathy Miller, Lola Clucas, Brothers; Ed Delong, Larry Delong, Glen Delong, She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, numerous other family and friends.

She was well known for her strength, positive outlook, her loving and nurturing personality and the way she tended to her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed spending her time in Myrtle Beach and listening to country music especially Alabama or Kenny Rogers.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Gathering of family and friends will be held prior from 3:00-4:00 pm.
