In Memory Of
Beth Ann Russell
1955 - 2020

Beth Ann Russell, 64, of Kettering OH died Saturday, March 28, 2020 at her home. Beth was born in Tipton, IN on July 3, 1955 to Robert and Martha (McKay) Russell.

In the summer of 1997 Beth met Michelle Bolt, and it was then she became a reluctant cat mom. The two were together 22 years and finally married August 21, 2015. Michelle survives and will be going through Beth's paperwork for the next decade because Beth never met a piece of paper she didn't want to save---FOREVER! The duo's cats, Cookie and Daisy miss their cat mom greatly and reside in Kettering with Michelle.

Beth earned a BS in Education from Indiana University. She put herself through college working in restaurants. After a short career teaching in Indianapolis Public Schools she returned to restaurant management, where she could earn more money. Her love for children remained strong, and she mentored many teens and young adults at Jim Dandy, Cracker Barrel and Penn Station East Coast Subs. After 41 years of being on her feet she was forced to retire. This allowed more time for visits with her family and friends.

Family meant everything to Beth. She often joked that if you stood next to a Russell you were bound to be absorbed into the family! She was a quiet and thoughtful woman, able to connect with any generation. She was a wonderful listener. She had a wicked sense of humor.

Survivors besides her partner/wife of 22 years, Michelle, include her sister, Janice Fallis and brother-in-law, Don of Ludington, MI and her brother, David Russell and sister-in-law, Michele of Tipton, IN. She also had many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews she loved dearly. Beth was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Michael, Butch and Doug and two sisters, Connie Brown and Tonita Jung.

It was Beth's wish to be cremated. Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, OH is handling these arrangements.

Memorial parties will be held on later dates in Tipton, IN and Dayton, OH. All are welcome to attend both.

Beth's cause of death was pancreatic cancer. Please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society, https://www.cancer.org/involved/donate.html in her memory.
