Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughters, Rhonda Ware and Denise Moore; brothers, Eugene, Donald and Jack Furderer; and former husband and friend, Russell H. Dunlavey.
Marlene is survived by her son, Russell M. (Kathleen) Dunlavey; grandchildren; Jacqueline Ware, Emily (Carl) Massey, Megan Bryan (John Lodge), Kristen Moore (Nathan Garvey), Jeremy Moore, Kaitlyn Moore, Kyle (Arran) Dunlavey, Logan Dunlavey; great grandchildren, Kaydence, Ian, Tanner, Carl Jr., Hunter, Carter, Jackson and Levi; brother, Robert Furderer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and beloved dogs, Toby and Jade.
Marlene underwent numerous health issues, yet defied the odds many times with her strength. She was dedicated to her family and her grandchildren and loved them unconditionally. Her perseverance was admired and she will certainly be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Funeral service will begin at 6:00 pm.
