Janet Anne Meyer (Nee Cruickshank), age 65, of Miami Twp. and formerly of Fairfield, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Janet was born on June 22, 1954 to the late Arthur & Dorothy (Nee Nelson) Cruickshank.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Katharine (Patrick) Tewell; brother, Jon Cruickshank; and many close friends.
Janet taught first grade for 32 and a half years at Fairfield South Elementary. In her free time, Janet loved traveling, shopping and spending time with her family.
Janet’s final resting place will be at Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton, Ohio.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 801 Park Ave, Hamilton, OH 45013.
Before Janet passed away, she requested that friends and family wear colorful clothes instead of traditional black to her celebration of life. She was our sunshine so her hope was that we would dress that way to honor her.
