William J. Poore, age 60 of Dayton, OH passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019. He was born December 28, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio to William and Evelyn (Arnett) Poore.

Bill graduated from Belmont High School and worked as a painter for Dalton's Painting in Dayton for 25 years. He loved anything outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Bill loved to cook anything and everything for his friends and family. His granddaughter Aaliyah was the apple of his eye and he spent every waking moment with her. Bill was a family man who always wanted to be with family, and was known for his jokes and his sense of humor. He loved his family dearly, and will be greatly missed by all.

William is survived by his daughter, Mandy Poore; a step-daughter, Christy (Joe Root) Phann; a granddaughter, Aaliyah Matson; three sisters, Barbara, Debra and Karen Poore; Mandy's Mom and best friend, Jeannie Sizemore; his close friend, Ron Farmer; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Woodland Cemetery.
