1942 - 2019

Joseph Anthony Wahlrab, age 77, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born March 30, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Joseph and Helena (Hafner) Wahlrab.

Joe retired from Dayton Reliable Tool and Dye Company where he was proud to work on the standard aluminum can “Pop Top”. He loved to be outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Joe could fix anything and enjoyed spending time in his work shop. He could be found, on any given day, on his front porch with his friends and neighbors solving the world’s problems. Joe was an avid OSU Buckeye fan.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Mae and Jerry Kastle.

Joseph is survived by his children, Christopher L. (Stacy) Wahlrab; and Tereasa M. (Earl Gregory) Harris; grandchildren, Jessica (Brent) Zerkle, Niki Wahlrab, Dustin Wahlrab, Tyler Hack, Joey Hack, Mallorie Hack, Cassady Harris, Camron Harris and Michael Gregory; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Morgan, Phoenix, Cody, Bonnie and one “on the way”; siblings, Paul (Joanne) Wahlrab and JoAnn (Jim) Kinderdine; also survived by numerous friends and extended family.
