In Memory Of
Judy Bicknell
1944 - 2019

Judith Rachel Bicknell, 75, of Huber Heights left us peacefully on November 12, 2019 after battling lung cancer for many months. She was born to Fred and Rachel Murphy and raised in Dayton.

She received her nursing degree (RN) from Sinclair in 1985. Judy was a critical care nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital, and retired from Grandview Hospital.

Judy was the very best wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandma, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, David "Ron"; her son, Ron Jr, daughter-in-law, Marge; daughter, Renee; granddaughter, Jennifer; great-granddaughter, Gabriella; and, her sweet little dog, Nipper. Also surviving are her beautiful sister, Janet; and brothers, Delmar and Thomas. Those that greeted her in heaven included: her parents, sisters, Dolly, Gertie, and Sylvia; and brother, Junior.

She loved spending time working on crafty projects around the house, being outside gardening, her wild flowers, the butterflies, honeybees, rocks, seashells and the beach.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday. Pastor Ronald Blades officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Judy's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
