Margaret Hawkins, age 91, of Riverside, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on November 27, 1927 to the late Robert Fain and Hilda Newton.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over sixty years, Elzie Hawkins; and by her son, Michael J. Hawkins.

Margaret was a homemaker and longtime cafeteria cashier at Brantwood Elementary School in Riverside.
She enjoyed doing word puzzles, reading the Bible, watching the Reds games, and most of all, spending time with her beloved family playing games. She taught many of them how to succeed playing Yahtzee.

Margaret is survived by her son, Craig (Catherine) of Sterling, Virginia, her daughter, Cindi Smith (Rick) of Huber Heights, Ohio, grandchildren Justin Smith of Huber Heights, Amy Hawkins of Salt Lake City, Utah, Richae Smith of Huber Heights, Kristin Hawkins of Kyiv, Ukraine, and her beloved great-grandson, Jacob Fischer of Huber Heights.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 followed by Funeral Ceremony at 12:30 pm.
