Charlsie R. “Nan” Kennison age 89 of Riverside passed away September 15, 2019 at her home.

She was born December 11, 1929 in Webster Springs, WV to the late Orden and Bessie Hamrick.

Nan was everybody’s mother and loved it! She enjoyed travelling, working crossword puzzles and the Young at Heart meetings with members of Airway Baptist Church. She was very generous with her time and resources. Nan was a blessing to everyone who met her.

She was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Kennison in 2015; sons Stephen L. Kennison, Roger A. Kennison and Nicky B. Kennison; daughter Karen L. Smith; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Charlsie is survived by her children Bill (Debbie) Kennison, Michael (Marilyn) Kennison and Phyllis Kennison; 19 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much, as well as many other family and friends who were blessed to know and love her.

A Celebration of Charlsie’s Life will be held Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. Friends may visit from 9-10:30 am on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
