1943 - 2019
Bob retired from General Motors in 1985 and also worked as an Iron Worker prior to GM. He enjoyed playing tennis and played at the Quail Run Tennis Club. Bob loved music, karaoke and watching America's Funniest Home Videos. He loved going out to eat on Sunday's with Barb at Cracker Barrel and other restaurants. Bob loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara; a son, Thomas Slack; a daughter, Amanda (Travis Hoening) Slack; two grandchildren, Weston and Emma Hoening; a niece, Debbie (Kevin) Roush; and other numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his step father, Blaine Slack.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
