Virginia H. Peters, age 93 of Beavercreek, OH passed away peacefully and lovingly at home on Friday, August 16, 2019. She was born October 11, 1925 in Salem, West Virginia to Hugh and Mildred West. Virginia married Robert Peters on August 29, 1946 in Fairborn, OH.

Virginia was an avid golfer and when her playing days ended she enjoyed watching it on TV. She was a beautiful seamstress and enjoyed cross stitching and crocheting, making many keepsakes for her family. Virginia was just Mom, G.G. and Gimme to her family and was loved dearly by them all.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Vicki Collins; two grandchildren, Amy H. (Paul) Matlow and Robert (Cynthia) Collins; three great grandchildren, Levi Matlow, Alyssa H. Fuller-Collins and Lucille "Lucy" H. Matlow; a sister in law, Claire West; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; son in law, Lee Collins; and siblings.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A Memorial Service will follow the gathering at 5:30 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Virginia's name to Hospice of Dayton (Ohio's Hospice), 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
