Rita F. McJunkin, age 95 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 10 Wilmington Place. She was born October 1, 1923 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Joseph and Luella Lehman.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James H. McJunkin; sisters, Luella Lehman, Thelma Lehman, Ruth Spang and Lucille Lehman; brother, Joseph W. Lehman.
Rita enjoyed ceramics, gardening and stained glass crafting and her family.
Rita is survived by her daughters, Deborah A. (Richard) Sharp and Sharon R. (James) Nicholas; son, James H. (Jodi Reef) McJunkin Jr.; grandsons, Shaun Nicholas, Matthew (Madison) Dwyer, Michael (Tara) Dwyer, Nathaniel Nicholas, Nicholas (Reana Tracy) Dwyer and Brian (Sarah) Nicholas; 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Rita's name to VITAS Hospice.
A memorial service for Rita will be held at a later date.
