Lizzie Foster, age 81 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Kindred Hospital. She was born September 13, 1937 in Bessemer, Alabama the daughter of the late John and Louisiana Williams.

Lizzie was a devoted member of Grace Outreach Fellowship. She was a dedicated teacher and Evangelist Missionary. Lizzie owned and operated Dearborn Daycare Center for 39 years. She worked at the VA Hospital in Dayton as a Master Barber.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elder Ulysses Foster; sister, Mary Woods and brother, Maxie Powell.

Lizzie is survived by her children, Sherman Foster, Diane Starling-Walls, George (Pietra) Foster and Debra Ann Foster; grandchildren, Monique and Ashlie Starling, Alexia Foster, Sarah (Richard) Daniel, Cassandra Foster, Samuel Foster, India Foster, Samarah Foster, Samson Foster and Jo’Hanna Foster; great-granddaughter, Lacey Foster; brother, Japheth Williams; special sisters, Annie Reid, Dottie Hamilton and Josephine McQueen; close family friend, Elder Kenneth Screven; along with many numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 10:00 am-11:00 am at Bethesda Temple, 3701 Salem Ave., Dayton, Ohio, 45406. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens on May 28, 2019 at 12:00 pm.
