Sanford F. "Sandy" Reigle
1949 - 2019

Sanford F. Reigle "Sandy", age 69 of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 14, 2019 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born on August 6, 1949 in Dover, OH to the late Charles and Dolores (Purdy) Reigle. In addition to his parents, Sandy was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Reigle.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Patricia Reigle; children, John (Christine) Reigle, Scott (Kristin) Reigle and Jennifer Reigle; 7 grandchildren, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Noah, Kelsey, Madison, Kory and Konnor; sisters, Cynthia (John) Steele and Sharon Clement; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.

Sandy served during Vietnam in the U.S. Air Force. He then worked for the United States General Accounting Office as an auditor for 34 years. Sandy and Pat were members of St. Peter's Parish in Huber Heights. He enjoyed watching and rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Raiders. Sandy's most favorite pastime was spending time with his grandkids and cheering them on with their sports! In his youth, Sandy enjoyed playing baseball. He had a strict exercise routine that he followed, including bench pressing, walking everyday and doing over a hundred push/sit ups. Sandy was very talented drawing and enjoyed helping the grandkids with their school projects.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 41014 Needmore Rd. where a memorial service will begin at 7 PM with military honors from the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.
