Tybalt Colin "Ty" Knisley
1982 - 2019

Tybalt "Ty" Colin, age 37 of Kettering, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2019. Ty was born in Dayton to proud parents John and Ginny Knisley on March 20, 1982. He graduated from Tecumseh High School 2000. After high school, Ty went on to attend and play football for Ball State University. He completed his bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics from Wright State University.

Ty loved to play Dungeon and Dragons and enjoyed board games that challenged his intellect. He was a WWE fan and enjoyed cheering on his favorite wrestlers. He enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family in his free time.

Ty met the love of his life, Karen in 2015. The two were married on September 7, 2018. They enjoyed many happy memories and wonderful times together.

Ty was a loving, caring, and compassionate husband, son, brother, uncle, and dear friend. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Ty was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Timothy Major; grandfather, Paul Kiger; and grandmothers, Helen Kiger, Judith Rankin-Bond, and Garnet Knisley.

Ty leaves to cherish his memory, loving and devoted wife, Karen Knisley; parents, Ginny and John Knisley; brother, Kyle Knisley; mother-in-law, Cheryl Major; special niece, Chloe Garfield; fur-babies, Kailey, Gillie, Gracie, Chip, and Bean; best-friend, Tommy Handwerker; and many other loving relatives and dear friends.

A Celebration of Ty's Life will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel at 7pm. A gathering and visitation will be held for two hours prior, from 5pm - 7pm.
