Katherine B. Meeker, age 61 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019. She was born May 28, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John and Clara Stunich.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful, loving, sweet, selfless lady. Kathy was expressive, had a loving heart and loved so many people. Many of the neighborhood kids referred to her as "Mom".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Byron Stunich and William "Billy" Stunich.

Kathy will be missed by her loving husband, Mike Weidel; son, Shawn Meeker (Nikki Clark); step-son, Andrew (Lacie) Deiker; grandchildren, Deagan, Rylan and Harrison; siblings, Mark (Cindy) Stunich, Don (Carol) Currie, Katrina Stunich, Johnny Stunich, Penny Stunich; numerous nieces and nephews; many cousins including Jackie Brown, John Grenko and Jerry Stunich; and many other close family members and friends.

Family will receive friends Friday, March 22, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Burial Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to Goodwill in memory of Kathy.
