Ebon P. Weaver
1924 - 2019

Ebon P. Weaver, quietly passed into the presence of the Lord on 13 Mar 2019. Known also as Paul Weaver, he was a long time resident of Naugatuck CT, residing in Beavercreek Twp OH since 2011. A veteran of both WWII and the Korea War, he served as a navigation officer in the USAF. Ebon worked as a research chemical engineer at Uniroyal until he retired as Manager of Technical Services. He then went on to be the Technical Director of Dexter Plastics where he particularly enjoyed mentoring the young engineers. While engineering was his vocation, his avocation was fine art painting which he enjoyed immensely. A painter of realistic still life and landscapes, he particularly enjoyed painting portraits and received commissions into his 90s. A UConn Huskies fan, he enjoy rooting on the girls basketball team with his special friend Ann, a practice they continued together long distance after his move to Ohio.

Ebon was preceded in death by his beloved “Emmie”, Emerenciana (Yeager) Weaver, to whom he was married for 51 years, his father Ebon Weaver and mother Helen (Hamre) Weaver.

He is survived by sons Paul (Marja) of Beavercreek Twp OH and Mark (Lucinda) of Olivette MO, daughter Susan of Waterbury CT, grandson Timothy and granddaughter Kathleen.

A memorial service will be conducted in Connecticut at a later date.
