Stacy Lee Ferguson
1966 - 2019

Stacy Lee Ferguson, age 52 of Dayton, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on March 14, 2019. She was born in Dayton on October 12, 1966 to proud parents, Douglas Montgomery and Nancy Current. Stacy graduated from Northridge High School in 1985.

She then went on to become a registered nurse. Stacy had a compassionate heart and shared her love for others by working with nursing homes in the area. Stacy never met a stranger and could light up a room with her smile and contagious laugh. She loved to spend time with her family, listening to music and sharing stories.

Stacy was a loving, caring, kind, and amazing mother, granny, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Stacy was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Current, and step-mother, Karen Montgomery.

Stacy leaves to cherish her memory, loving children, Amber (Jake Duckett) Ferguson, Amy (Sheldon) Short, Alec Ferguson, and Austin Ferguson; grandchildren, Alyssia, Halley, and Ahna; father, Douglas Montgomery; sisters, Kelly (Mike Witt) Montgomery and Althea (Eddy) Montgomery; brothers, Gene Montgomery and Mason Montgomery; friend and father of her children, Butch Ferguson; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude to niece, Nikki Montgomery, "Stacy's crazy neighbor", for all her love, care, and compassion.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 5pm at Newcomer - North Chapel. Family will greet friends and loved ones for one hour prior (4pm - 5pm).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stacy's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
