1921 - 2018

Teobaldo “Manolo” Rodriguez, age 97, of Beavercreek OH, went to be with the Lord Friday, December 7, 2018. He was born January 1, 1921 in Cardenas, Cuba.

Manolo is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Silvia Alvarez; his devoted son, Manuel J. Rodriguez (Beatriz) of Xenia OH; grandchildren, Carolina Jarrell (Robert) of Springboro OH, Daniel Rodriguez of Beavercreek OH; great grandchildren, Kendall Jarrell, Kamila Jarrell, Kinsey Jarrell of Springboro OH; and many precious friends.

Manolo was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and was an avid sports fan all of his life. He rarely missed a baseball game on the television, and loved to watch and discuss baseball with his son and grandson. He also enjoyed playing dominos with friends and family. He was a hard worker his entire life, early on managing his family’s sugar cane plantations in Cuba, and later on as a salesperson in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

He leaves a legacy of a life full of love and integrity for all his family and friends.
