He was born August 20, 1947 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late James Hollis Bradam and Virgie (Walker) Bradam.
Leon attended Stebbins High School and was a Firefighter for 26 years with the Mad River Township/City of Riverside.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Daniel Gale Bradam and Ronnie Dale Bradam.
Leon is survived by his wife of 53 years, JoAnn (Callender) Bradam; son Michael (Stacey) Bradam and daughter Cindy (Steve) Morgan; grandchildren Haven Bradam, Macey Bradam, Katie Morgan and Hunter Morgan; brother Donald (Becky) Bradam; Brothers-in-law John Callender and Bob (Joyce) Callender; lifelong friends Tom and Ruthie Lane; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts and other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel.
Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery in Beavercreek.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Additional viewing on Friday from 12-1:00 pm.
