1934 - 2018

Paul E. Berger "Eddie", age 84 of Dayton, a resident of Brookdale Springdale Senior Living, passed away December 6, 2018. He was born October 13, 1934 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Eugene and Ruth Berger. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Berger; brother, Robert Berger; and many other family members.

Ed is survived by his daughters: Kimberly (Jeff) Millner and Cindy (Ulrich) Rose; grandchildren: Rachel (Dustin) Tiemeier and Jacob Millner; sister, Janet Pitsenbarger; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors and NCR. He loved to hunt, was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and animal lover, and enjoyed working in his yard. He won the Patterson Park Beautification Award for the most beautiful yard.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 am on Monday at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ed's memory to the American Heart Association.
