1926 - 2018

Charles McCall, age 92 of Kettering, OH went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 12, 1926 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to Charles and Mayme (Willoughby) McCall.

Charlie proudly served his country in the US Navy. He was a member of Kettering First Baptist Church and was ordained as a Deacon in 1970 at Webster Street Baptist Church. Charlie retired from the James River Paper Company (Specialty Paper) after 34 years of service. He loved all God's creation as well as his family, friends and neighbors.

Charles is survived by his wife of 72 years Nona; four sons, Terry (Tessy) McCall, Mike (Tanya) McCall, Gary McCall and Ronnie (Becky) McCall; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers; and four sisters.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 10:00 to11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Charlie's name to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
