Juanita Ellen [Dillard] Barker age 94 of Beavercreek, Ohio Passed away 11/6/2018.

Long time Beavercreek resident that along with her husband, Woodrow [Woody] Barker, started Barker Brothers excavating in the 50’s then later W. Barker and Sons Well Drilling in the 60’s. She was a member of VFW 8312 in Beavercreek, Ohio and loved music and dancing and spending time with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Emory and Nellie Dillard, two brothers, Albert and Bill Dillard and a sister, Dorothy [Dot] Hart, along with her husband of 38 years, Woodrow Barker.

She is survived by her sons, Robert [Mary Ellen], Barker, Tom [Christina] Barker, daughter, Nita Jane Barker Miller and husband Greg, as well as her “adopted son”, Jim Barnes, his wife Candace, their son, and his family. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren along with 2 brothers, Landon and Homer Dillard and 2 sisters, Ann [Dillard] Wiggins, Bobbie [Dillard] Clevenger as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members and foster children.

The family would like to extend a special thanks and appreciation to Aunt Caroline Skinner for her loving care of their mother. Also, many thanks to the kind, caring staff of Greenwood Manor as well as Hospice of Miami Valley.

Memorial Service will be held 11/19/18 from 5-7PM at Newcomers Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd Beavercreek, Oh 45432
