Edward J. Williams, age 84 of West Alexandria, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Brookhaven Rehab and Retirement Center. He was born February 7, 1934 in West Liberty, Kentucky, the son of the late Milt and Monnie Williams.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Willia Mae Williams; as well as 2 sisters, Delena Arnold and Dorothy Williams Rash.

Edward is survived by his children, Anna Williams, Philemon "Phil" (Jacklyn) Williams, Thomas (Ann) Williams, Michael (Tracy) Williams; grandchildren, Lee, Brian (Dana), Todd, Rachelle, Brett (Christine), Grant, Kayla; great grandchildren, James, Luke, Nora, Avery, Aiden, Mason, Maddox, Vivienne; half-brother, Richard "Dickie" (Margaret) Williams; girlfriend, Roberta "Bobby" Landis; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

There will be no services per Dad's wishes. He wanted to be remembered as the strong, hardworking, bib-overall-wearing, Harley man that he was. We would like to thank the staff at Brookhaven, especially Nurse Station 4, for their kind care of Dad. Since he loved animals, please consider a contribution to any Humane Society in your area, in his memory.
