He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Howie Donahue, step-son, Matthew Stevens, grandchildren, Hunter Browning and Megan Crawford.
Butch was a veteran of the US Army serving in Germany. He was a retired HVAC senior technician. Butch loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and spending time at the lakes. He also loved OSU football and the Browns. He dearly loved his little dog, Oscar.
Edward is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughters, Lisa Lynn (Shawn) Donahue-Miller, Sherry Lee (Chuck) Donahue-Browning; step-daughters, Kimberly Gail Robbins, Tammy K (Ronnie) Israel-Young; sisters, Marge Greenberg, Rita (Kenny) Prichard; brother, Jim (Ruth) Donahue; grandchildren, Christa Donahue, Ashley (Chad) McLees, Allison Miller, Tinley Browning, Tatum Browning, Tara (Kyle) Kavanaugh, Chelsea (Tyler) Teubert, Gage Crawford, Ryan (Amanda) Textor, Sierra Stevens, Tiffany Stevens, Bailey Stevens; great-grandchildren, Alauna (Cameron) Nader, Averi McLees, Alisha McLees, Aiden McLees, Alex McLees, Cheyanne Textor, Kamreigh Kavanaugh; He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on September 25, 2018 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be September 24, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to any Hospice organization in the Dayton area in Edward "Butch" Donahue's name.
