William Burell Jr., age 55 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born February 9, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio the son of William and Betty (Logan) Burell Sr.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings, Thomas E. Logan and Katherine F. Burell.
Billy is survived by his husband, W. C. James Burell; his son, William Burell, III; siblings, Geraldine Burell, Joan Burell, Bettie Jean Burell; numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Pearl Valentine; and many friends.

Billy was a 1982 graduate of Belmont High School and attended some classes at Sinclair Community College. He has enjoyed a 20-year career in parking services for University of Dayton where he was known as the “Gate Keeper”. He loved to garden and domestic work always keeping an immaculate home. Billy also had an appreciation for art, keeping in shape and following his favorite athletes and sports teams.

Family is hosting a celebration of life 1:00pm Friday, September 28, 2018 at Woodland Cemetery - Mausoleum Chapel, Dayton. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton at 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton OH 45420.
