Dale L. Saunders, Sr., age 72, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2018, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.

Dale was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Andrew and Elizabeth Saunders. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his beloved mother-in-law, Mabel Willoughby.

Dale is survived by his wife of 51 years, Deloris A. Saunders; 3 children, Dale Jr. (Stephanie) Saunders, Kathleen (Robert) Bronson, and Tina Saunders; grandchildren, Brittney (Brad) Radar, Shyann (Eric) Stringer, Autumn (Sean) Saunders, and Andrew Saunders; precious great-grandchildren, Bladen and Braxen Radar; sister, Suzanne (Fred) Bergman; numerous sisters and brothers-in-law and their spouses; many loving nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, especially, Donovan Rogers and other children raised within the Saunders' household.

Dale was led to the Lord by his son and showed his devotion to Christ by being baptized by his son and Pastor Jerry Siler.

The family would like to thank the people at Hospice of Dayton, Pastor Jerry Siler, and all Dale's friends and co-workers at Oberer's Flowers for their kindness and love toward Dale.

A Celebration of Dale's Life will be held at Newcomer-North Chapel on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 6pm. Family will greet friends and loved ones for two hours prior (4pm-6pm).
