Wanda M. Ison, age 88, of Dayton, passed away at home and went to be with her Lord Jesus on July 10, 2018.

She was preceded in death by husband, Harlan Ison in 1989, the father of her 3 children, son, Harlan Davis on 7/28/2001. Also preceded in death by brothers, Estil Hutchinson, Charles Hutchinson, sisters, Ersil Fraley, Darlene Kouns, and Ruth Wheeler, grandsons, Michael Saleeby and Jeffrey Saleeby. Survived by two daughters, Vickie Prindle and husband, Timothy of Dayton, Debra Dunaway and husband, Daniel of Dayton; one grandson, Matthew Prindle of Dayton; one great-granddaughter, Breanna Thompson of Dayton; four great-great grandchildren, Baylee Thompson, Jasilynn Lee, Jessie Michael Lee, Arianna Lee. Also survived by three brothers, Roy Hutchinson, Gerald Hutchinson and wife, Kay, David Hutchinson, all of Ashland, KY; sister, Margaret Everman and husband, Junior of Ashland, KY, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Temple for many years. Wanda was retired from A & P Grocery Stores after 25 years, and Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., after 18 years. She was a member of Senior Tour Connection as a tour escort, and volunteered with Hospice of Dayton for 14 years, and Huffman Senior Lunch Program.

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 15, 2018 at Newcomer South Chapel 3940 Kettering Blvd from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral Service 1:00pm Monday, July 16, 2018 at Cornerstone Baptist Temple 1707 Ohmer St., Dayton, Ohio, with Pastor Jerry Siler officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.

He will keep you in perfect peace all those who trust in him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord! Trust the Lord God always, for in the Lord God is your everlasting strength. Isaiah 26:3-4
