Collin Griffin

Collin Griffin, age 14 of Vandalia, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 9, 2018 at his home. He was born on October 30, 2003 in Springfield, Ohio to Robert and Erin Griffin. Collin was preceded in death by his sister, Peytin Emmalin Griffin; and uncle, Roger B. McAfee.

He is survived by his beloved parents, Robert and Erin Griffin; brothers, Austin Diller and Coltin Griffin; sister, Kierstin Diller; maternal grandparents, Roger and Linda McAfee; paternal grandparents, Harold and Lisa Griffin; uncles: Travis and Kyler McAfee and Jerry Gray, Jr.; aunts, Cherish Gray and Shawnda McAfee; numerous cousins, extended family, classmates and friends.

Collin was an 8th grade student at Tecumseh Middle School, where he was involved in football, basketball and baseball. Collin treasured his school and his friends. He loved to draw, had a great passion for music, and was able to meet his favorite artist, J. Cole in Washington D.C. Collin had a personality that was bigger than life, he lived each day to the fullest and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in the gymnasium at Tecumseh High School, 9830 West National Road, New Carlisle, where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 8:00 pm.
