She was a retired officer of the US Air Force and a faithful member of the Christian Life Center. Raye graduated from Central State University in 1972. After graduation from college, she went on to volunteer for the U.S. Peace Corps. and later became a respected fashion model in Europe.
She touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Raye is survived by three sisters, Jacqueline (James) Richardson, Janice (Otis) Thomas, Tebbi B. Worley and one brother, Reginald L. Payne.
Funeral services: 12 noon March 13, 2017 at Christian Life Center, 3489 Little York Rd., Dayton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
