In Memory Of
William Benjamin Disher
1945 - 2015

William B. (Joe) Age 69, went to be with his Lord on January 23, 2015. He was born on September 5, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio.

William worked in the family business Disher's Bike Shop in Dayton for over 50 years; he was well known as an avid recycler and worked for a time at the Dayton Public Library downtown.

Even though time is precious William (Joe) always had a minute for anyone and he met them with a smile and a warm handshake. More than anything he wanted people to value life and the "things" within.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Willard and Celesta Disher, Sister Martha Corwin (Disher) and beloved step-mother Gertrude Moyer. He is survived by his brother James Disher and sister-in-law Nancy, Brother David Disher and sister-in-law Jeanette, Sister Rose Routsong (Disher) and brother-in-law Jack, numerous nieces and nephews and beloved friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home North Chapel 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424. Officiating the service will be Pastor Don Betts from Campus 320.

Burial will take place at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dayton Metro Library Foundation or the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
