SHULTZ, Matthew

Age 92, passed away January 24, 2015. He was born November 10, 1922 in Dayton, OH to the late, Frederick and Anna Shultz. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Shultz and step-mother, Imogene Shultz.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Marian Shultz; children, Sharon (Jim) Malone, Robert (Laura) Shultz, and Richard (Tammy) Shultz; siblings, Jean (Brad) Porter, Joann Doty, and Fred (Sandy) Shultz; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Matt was a proud member of the United States Army Air Corps and WWII veteran. He was a 32nd degree Mason, member of Dayton Lodge 147. Matt was a long time member of Dorothy Lane American Baptist Church where he served in many roles. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held February 14, 2015 at 11:00 am at Dorothy Lane American Baptist Church, 960 W Dorothy Lane, Kettering, OH.

In lieu of flowers donations may be to the church in Matt’s memory.
