Phillip W. Frederick, age 74 of Springboro, Ohio, formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio passed away December 13, 2014. He was born March 19, 1940 in Fonzo, WV to the late Wilbert and Wilda Frederick.
Phil is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Frederick; children: Tammie (Jim) Hoium, Melissa (Mark) Ray, Phillip Frederick and Peter (Amy) Frederick; 12 grandchildren: Christopher, Rebekah, Samuel and Patrick Hoium, Sarah, Bethany, Evan and Michaela Ray, Peter, Benjamin, Henry and Lillya Frederick; one great-grandson, Ian Hoium; and brother, Roger (Jenette) Frederick.
Phil worked at M. O’Neil Company, Sears and Penney’s and subcontracted to many smaller interior decorators in the Akron area. Phil loved cars, guns and music, but most of all he loved his Lord. Phil is now at peace and wanted his service to be a joyous occasion.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Clearcreek Chapel, 2738 Pennyroyal Road, Miamisburg, Ohio. Contributions may be made in Phil’s memory to the Gospel Mission, 64 Burns Ave., Dayton, OH 45402. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
