Susan B. Oakley, age 89, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014. She was born April 6, 1925 in Brushy Fork, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Mike and Mary Benton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Durward F. Oakley; siblings, Grover Benton, Thelma Patrick, Oakley Smith, Dorsey Benton, Mike Benton and grandchild, Wade Fannin.

Susan is survived by her four daughters, Deborah L. (Gary R.) Fannin, J. Cherrye (Stephen H.) Bates, Suzanne (Michael E.) Francis and Marialice (James M.) Stansberry; sister, Flora Perkins; six grandchildren, Shelly Martin, Lori Shaw, Bryan Stansberry, Jonathan Stansberry, Gail Kelley and Dionne Fout; eleven great-grandchildren, Abigail, Audrey, Connor, Kyle, Joselyn, Noah, Addison, Sarah, Katie, Rick , Levi and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 2221 Harshman Rd. Dayton, OH 45424. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
