Karen was an avid gardener and enjoyed anything with a needle and thread. She was extremely crafty.

Her family and home was everything to Karen. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.

“I can’t promise that I will be here for the rest of your life, but I can promise you that I will love you forever.” These were Karen’s words to her daughter during her illness.

We will miss you always.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Patrick Allan and the staff in the Acute Care Unit at Grandview Hospital for their care and compassion.
